You deserve to be healthy in body and mind. Your plan covers health for you as a whole person. That includes help with your mental and behavioral health, including substance use. You can see any provider in our network.
I’m having a crisis
Call 911 or go to the nearest hospital if:
- You have thoughts of harming yourself or someone else
- You have an emergency and need help right now
- You can use any hospital for emergency care, even if it isn’t in our network. Just show your member ID card.

Mental health is part of your whole health. Just like a physical checkup, your doctor can also check on your mental health. A screening can help your doctor find out if you have any:
- Mild or moderate distress
- Impairment of mental, emotional or behavioral function
After your screening, we’ll work with you to manage your mental health in ways that best fit your needs.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has programs and resources you can use. Here are some NAMI programs that members and their families may benefit from:
- Peer-to-Peer is a free 10-week course on the topic of recovery for anyone living with a serious mental illness.
- Family-to-Family is a free 12-week course for family caregivers of adults living with mental illness.
- StrengthOfUs.org is an online social community for teens and young adults living with mental illness.
