Some medicines need your PCP’s approval before you can get them. Our formulary (drug list) is always updated with the medicines we offer. You can learn more about your pharmacy benefits below.
Have you or your child had an acute hospital stay recently? If so, you may get a call from our care management team asking if you:
- Scheduled a follow-up appointment with a PCP or specialist
- Were able to get any prescribed medicines
- Understood the discharge instructions
- Have any additional needs, so they can refer you to one of our care managers if needed
Do you see a doctor who isn’t in the Aetna Better Health® of Maryland network? We want to make sure you continue to get the care you need.
