Have you been feeling like yourself lately? If not, we’re here for you. We offer behavioral health treatment to our members who need some extra care.

I’m having a mental health crisis

Call 911 or go to the nearest hospital if:
 

  •  You’re thinking about hurting yourself or someone else
  •   You have a behavioral health emergency 

You can use any provider for emergency care, even if it isn’t in our network. Just show your member ID card.

Substance use disorder services

If you have a substance use disorder, you’re not alone. Your Primary Care Provider (PCP) can help. Your Care Manager can also help coordinate services for substance use disorders, with:

 

  • Screening
  • Evaluation
  • Treatment 

We cover: 

 

  • Substance use disorder services at community mental health centers, such as:

    • Assessment
    • Individual peer recovery support
    • Group peer recovery support
    • Individual counseling
    • Group counseling
    • Case management
    • Urine drug screening
    • Nursing services
    • Withdrawal management
  • Residential treatment for substance use disorders:

    • Withdrawal management
    • Low-intensity residential treatment
    • Inpatient withdrawal management

Mental health services

Are you concerned about your mental health? It’s part of your whole health, so it’s important. Just ask your PCP for a screening. This can help your Provider find out if:
 

  • You’re in mild or moderate distress
  • You have impairment of mental, emotional or behavioral functioning

After your screening, we’ll work with you to take action to manage your mental health in a way that best fits your needs.

  • Treatment

    • Individual and group psychotherapy
    • Psychological/development/neuropsychological testing
    • Crisis intervention
    • Therapeutic behavioral services (TBS) group services
    • Case management
    • LPN and RN services
  • Respite services

 

Mental health services are covered at community mental health centers, outpatient hospitals and inpatient hospitals.

NAMI is the National  Alliance on Mental Illness. Here are some NAMI programs that members and their families may benefit from:
 

  • Peer-to-Peer is a free 10-week course on the topic of recovery for anyone living with a serious mental illness.
  • Family-to-Family is a free 12-week course for family caregivers of adults living with mental illness.
  • StrengthOfUs.org is an online social community for teens and young adults living with mental illness.
