The Persons with Disabilities waiver is for people ages 15 to 59 who have been diagnosed with a severe disability. To qualify for this waiver:
- Your disability is expected to last at least 12 months
- Your disability puts you at risk for being placed in a nursing facility

The Persons with Brain Injury waiver is for all people who have a brain injury that limits their brain’s function. To qualify, you must be at risk for being placed in a nursing facility because of the injury.
