Member Advisory Committee (MAC)
Do you take part in our Supporting Kentucky Youth (SKY) program? Or have you taken part in the past? If so, we want to hear from you.
The MAC is a group of members who meet to review services and help us find ways to better serve Kentucky’s youth. They meet on a phone or video call (in person as available) four times a year. Members can include:
- Kinship parents and families
- Foster parents
- Adoptive parents
- Youth
At MAC meetings, the group talks about what’s going well and what needs improvement. Members talk mainly about:
- Access to services
- Service delivery
- Gaps in support systems
- Engagement with system staff
- Cultural competency
- Member knowledge of services and supports
An Aetna® group guide leads the meetings, takes notes and sends a report to you and us. Then, we work on solutions.
Join us and tell us what you think
