SKY Advisory Councils
SKY Advisory Councils
Do you take part in our Supporting Kentucky Youth (SKY) program? If so, we want to hear from you.
As a SKY member or family member, your voice matters. And the goal of SKY Advisory Councils is to ensure your voice is heard. Together we review services and supports and help each other find ways to better serve our youth. And we meet on a phone or video call (in person whenever possible) four times a year.
At council meetings, the group talks about what’s going well and what needs improvement. Members talk mainly about:
- Access to services
- Service delivery
- Gaps in support systems
- Engagement with system staff
- Cultural competency
- Member knowledge of services and supports
An Aetna® group guide leads the meetings, takes notes and sends a report to you and us. Then, we work on solutions.
