Earn rewards with care
Earn rewards with care
Maternity Matters is all about earning rewards with maternity care. It’s a benefit you can enjoy before and after your baby is born. Why take part? You’ll get support throughout your pregnancy and as a new mother. A healthy baby is the best reward, but now you can enjoy even more.
How does the program work?
You’ll earn rewards for completing certain goals. Then, the dollars show up on a special card you’ll receive. You can use the money for healthy food, maternity supplies and diapers at local and online stores. Once you know you’re pregnant, just call us at 1-855-300-5528 (TTY: 711). Then, ask to speak with a care manager. They’ll help you get started.
With Maternity Matters, you can earn:
$25 gift card: Just go to your initial prenatal visit.
$10 gift card: Earn for each additional prenatal visit you complete (up to 10 visits).
$25 gift card: Go to your postpartum visit within 7 to 84 days after your baby’s birth.
Cribs or carseats for moms: Pregnant members can earn a gift card up to $90 to purchase a portable crib or car seat at 37 weeks or more of pregnancy for seeing their doctor regularly (at least 7 visits) during their pregnancy.
You may also be able to get rides for any additional needs such as job interviews, job training, shopping for professional attire, grocery store or food bank, and accessing community health services that are not otherwise covered.

If you’re planning a family, try to see your doctor before you get pregnant. If you’re already pregnant or even think you might be, take these simple steps:
See your doctor early — this can help keep both of you healthy.
Keep all your appointments. Make it a goal to not miss even one.
Take on healthy habits. Like eating healthy meals and getting enough exercise. Also, aim for 8 to 10 hours of sleep every night.
Don’t use tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs. If you’re using these substances, tell your doctor right away. You’re not alone, and they can help.
Tell your doctor about any prescription medications you take — you may need to stop while you’re pregnant.
Learn about childbirth classes to help with your pregnancy and delivery. They’re free. Just ask your doctor how to sign up.
Ask your doctor if you need a lead test. Older houses and other sources can expose you to lead. And high lead levels can harm your baby.
